Hugs and Kisses to you

By

Elnora Palmtag

If hugs were ice cream, I’d melt in your arms.

If hugs had a flavor, I’d wish for a rainbow.

If kisses were candy, I’d want to eat it all.

If kisses were expensive, I’d spend all my money on yours.

If love was a flower, I’d want a big, big bunch.

If love was a tree, I’d want a forest with you.

If you were a present, I’d want to open it now.

If you were a book, I’d read it again and again.

Thank you for being a part of my life,

I’m so glad grandpa made you his wife.

(Dedicated to Floydene Miller, the best mother-in-law in the world)
